October & November 2026 at the Leibniz ScienceCampus
We are looking forward to a busy autumn at the Leibniz ScienceCampus Europe and America to kick off the new winter winter semester. We invite you to join us at our events, meet our visiting scholars and apply to our open calls for fellowships, jobs and funding. The ScienceCampus is grateful to all our partners for cooperating on so many events.
As we are currently upgrading our website, some of the links will lead to our partners rather than to our own site. We are working on ensuring we have a full site as soon as possible!
Visiting researcher
We are delighted to welcome Dietrich Earnhart from the University Kansas as an LSC Visiting Researcher in October, hosted by the IOS Economics Department and the Graduate School for East and Southeast European Studies (GS OSES UR). He will present his research on 27 October in the IOS Economics Department Seminar, addressing the theme of: Multiple Ways for Households to Stay Cool: Complements or Substitutes. During his time in Regensburg, he will continue to collaborate on studies addressing the effects of demographics and environmental quality on labour market outcomes. With this fellowship, the ScienceCampus is pleased to be contributing to the thriving strategic partnership between KU and UR.
Many more visiting researchers, based at IOS and UR, including at REAF, the Graduate School, seeFField and Denkraum Ukraine, will take part in the Meet the Visiting Researchers Session on 22 October (16:00) at AlFi 017. This is a great opportunity to network with colleagues from around the world working across multiple disciplines.
