Bio:

Vjollca Krasniqi is a sociologist and lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Prishtina. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Ljubljana, an M.Sc. in Gender, Development, and Globalization from the London School of Economics (LSE), and a B.A. in Philosophy and Sociology from the University of Prishtina. Her research spans a wide range of critical issues in South Eastern Europe, including gender, nation- and state-building, post-war reconstruction, collective memory, transnationalism, and feminist and post-colonial theories. Dr Krasniqi has published extensively on political, social, and gender dynamics in the Balkans, contributing to edited volumes and journals such as Feminist Review and Socialno delo. She is the editor of Symbolic Nation-Building in South Eastern Europe and co-author of The Politics of Remembrance and Belonging: Kosovar Women since the War.
