The ScienceCampus and Dr. Gerlinde Groitl look forward to welcoming you on Monday 5 June at 14:15 for the next public talk in the speaker series on transatlantic security issues "(In)Security: Europe and America in the Modern World". This event takes place in person in Room DE 2.121 of the Biology building at UR. A map of the UR campus is available here.

Dr Marco Overhaus of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) will be discussing Security Challenges in the Euro-Atlantic and the Indo-Pacific.

He is a member of the SWP Americas Research Division analyses domestic, economic and foreign policy developments in the United States and Latin America as well as the relations between Germany/Europe and the countries of the Americas. He has expertise in U.S. defense and military policy, transatlantic defense policy, NATO, U.S. security policy in the Middle East, and U.S. security policy in the Indo-Pacific.
