An expanding literature in economics and demography studies the relationship between crises, war, and demographic change, focusing on their effects on health, fertility, and gender norms. We welcome submissions from junior scholars (Ph.D. students and Postdocs) in economics, gender economics, health economics, and sociology. We will be especially interested in contributions that demonstrate how different types of crises affect gender norms, fertility patterns and demographic transition.
Submissions should be sent to the following email summeracademy@ios-regensburg.de and include:
- Extended abstracts (up to 2000 words) or full papers
- Presenter’s CV (up to 3 pages) with the contact information
In case of questions please contact Sinara Gharibyan at gharibyan@ios-regensburg.de.
